The current governance structure of Synthetix was established through the SR-2 “Synthetix Reboot” referendum, passed in October 2024. This referendum replaced the former three council system with a unified 7 member Spartan Council. In Synthetix, governance power originates from SNX stakers, who elect representatives to the Spartan Council, the central governing body of the Synthetix hybrid DAO. The Council is composed of one Treasury seat, three Advisory seats, and three Core Contributor (CC) seats covering Strategy, Technical, and Operations. Elections for all non-CC seats occur every 6 months, in April and October, with voting power proportional to the amount of SNX staked. The Council deliberates and votes off-chain on improvement and configuration proposals, known respectively as SIPs (Synthetix Improvement Proposals) and SCCPs (Synthetix Configuration Change Proposals). Once approved, proposals are executed on-chain via multi-signature (Gnosis Safe) transactions, requiring a 4 of 7 approval threshold for implementation.

Havven Bounty Campaign
Season
The Havven airdrop was conducted before the project’s rebranding to Synthetix. To qualify, users were required to provide a verified email address, join one of the official Telegram groups and remain until March 6, submit a matching Telegram username, and provide a valid ERC-20 compatible Ethereum wallet address. To protect legitimate users, Havven implemented strict anti-fraud checks. After all verifications, 74,168 participants remained eligible out of 153,975 total submissions, with 138,930 verified email addresses and a Telegram group size of 119,042. Token allocations ranged from approximately 18.88 tokens per stake to 377.56 tokens for the maximum of 20 stakes.
The Havven Bounty Campaign launched on BitcoinTalk. After removing duplicate and invalid entries, the final participant count included 644 users on Twitter, 495 on Reddit, 529 on Medium, and 1,087 on Telegram. On February 23, emails were sent to all eligible participants requesting an ERC-20 compatible Ethereum wallet address for token distribution, with a submission deadline set for February 26. The final bounty allocations were 388 tokens for Twitter participants, 101 tokens for Reddit, 189 tokens for Medium, and 92 tokens for Telegram.
