To celebrate the launch of PancakeSwap V3, the protocol organized a $135,000 CAKE airdrop accompanied by an exclusive NFT to support earlier supporters. Eligibility was divided into two categories: existing liquidity providers with at least $500 in BUSD/WBNB, USDT/WBNB, BTCB/WBNB, or ETH/WBNB pools prior to March 5, 2023, who maintained their positions until April 3, and new participants who added a minimum of $500 in liquidity between March 5 and March 18 and held it through April 3. A total of $105,000 was allocated to existing LPs across tiered pools ($8,000, $12,000, $25,000, and $60,000), while $30,000 was reserved for new and additional LPs in tiers of $8,000, $10,000, and $12,000.
To qualify to PancakeSwap × Coinbase One, participants had to hold an active Coinbase One membership, link a verified wallet, and complete at least $100 USD in aggregate trading volume on Base, BNB Chain, or Arbitrum through PancakeSwap. Rewards are calculated proportionally to each user’s share of total eligible trading volume, with a maximum of 100 CAKE per participant per round and a total distribution of $4,200 in CAKE every two weeks for Rounds 1 and 2.
